The first burglary occurred at 22 Edgewood Road and was reported just after 9 a.m. The complainant said they arrived home around 10 p.m. the night before and parked two vehicles in the driveway, neither one of them locked. The next morning, they found the door of their 2017 Jeep Wrangler still opened. Upon further inspection, it was discovered that a flashlight normally kept in the trunk had been moved to the driver’s seat, but nothing appeared to be missing.

The second vehicle in the driveway, a 2018 Suburban, also appeared to have been entered. The glove box and center console were both left open, and a blanket was missing from the trunk.

The second incident was reported shortly after the first, around 9:30 a.m., at 47 Fitch Avenue. The complainant stated that their 2010 VW Tiguan, which was last observed in the driveway around 10 p.m. the night before, was missing that morning. The complainant also said that a spare key may have been found in the other car in the driveway, which had been left unlocked.

The third incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 26 at 237 Noroton Ave.

The resident stated that at 8:30 a.m., she came out to her Jeep Grand Cherokee and found the contents of the glove box on the floor of the passenger’s side. The vehicle had been left unlocked and nothing appeared to be missing
